Dr. Alan J. Bauman is the Founder and Medical Director of Bauman Medical Group, located in Boca Raton, Florida, USA. Founded in 1997, Bauman Medical Group is a medical practice exclusively dedicated to helping men and women restore their own living and growing hair.

Dr. Bauman was born in NJ and attended college at University of California-Riverside before receiving his M.D. degree (with Cor Et Manus distinction) at New York Medical College. Dr. Bauman served his internship and residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center and Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, before specializing in Microsurgical Hair Restoration. While in medical school, he was drawn to the more aesthetic side of surgery, admiring the artistic work of his mentor and friend, a NY Plastic Surgeon.
